FAMOUS PUGS!

Well the pugs are famous! We finally watched the news we DVR'd on Sunday (Indy's WTHR Channel 13) and saw the pugs!! They featured mostly Sophie and Dixie, I had already walked by with Harley, they probably skipped over me since I was holding a big bag of poop!

Watch around second 20, that's when they show up (for all of two seconds!) I taped the TV with my camera, so you can hear Brian cheering for the girls in their TV debut. You can also see Harley's lil booty ahead of them a little!

Also, just for funsies, here is a video of the little walkers themselves. I love Dixie's enthusiasm, Harley's sexy sashay, and Sophie's ADD!

In less fun news, today when we went to get the pugs' bordatella shots, Sophie peed bloody urine on the vet's floor! She couldn't have picked a better place to pee, though. They took a sample and gave her antibiotics for a UTI. Poor thing! She's having a hard time with it. Now, the accidents yesterday were clear, and we know Dixie's was in the kitchen, but the other could have been Sophie for sure. Apologies have been made to all pug parties involved!

Pugs on Parole

Just as I was thinking how great our little puggies are... Dixie pees on the kitchen floor, Harley pees on Brian's shoe, and Sophie...

Yes that is all Sophie. I count nine. She's like a ginormous hamster. (Part of me feels like I personally deserve that poop on my white sweater for leaving clothes out of the hamper... and that sweater is now in the trash.)

They are very, very sorry. And are grounded until further notice.

I POOP ON ALZHEIMER'S!

Actually, all three of us puggies do!!!! We poop AND pee on Alzheimer's Disease. That's why we did the Memory Walk today to help raise money for Alzheimer's Disease Research. Mommy made us shirts!!! (Mom's note: I CANNOT sew. And the child's small was massive on them. Therefore I had to hand-sew them all to alter them, and they were extremely ghetto, but made more secure after I used iron-on patches on the insides to protect the stitches. I think that Roxy and Lucky's mom would be ashamed!!!!)

These were our super-cool shirts. That's Harley, Stupidbugg, and me! Mommy also made them for our friends. First you remember Ruby-

Mommy didn't have to sew her shirt at all! Then also there was Llama, who you should remember from his dashing bow tie-

His shirt was a little long, but no sewing necessary either for his! Some kids really liked our shirts and came over to pet us.

Naturally we got very excited! However, another visitor came over... a BT!!!!! I'm sure Dixie was like, drooling her heart out.

Whoa, the BT is sniffing Harley's butt! He's as confused as a Bugg!!!

Here's a picture of the BT. He was hit by a car and had surgery to help him walk again. He had a little mobile cast which was so neat!

After playing with the cool animals we went for a big walk around the track!

Also it was so cool a news crew video-ed us pugs and Harley walked right towards the camera and Mommy and Daddy are watching that channel to see if we're on the news! OMD we could be totally famous!!!!

Our Mommy's team won an award so we got to go on stage. We had to then have a moment of silence and Harley could not stop breathing heavy and snorting and everyone looked at him!! Here he is with Mommy and Daddy.

Mommy got her contacts in, she was very happy since she could wear sunglasses! But now her eyes hurt and it will be at least a few days before she wears them again.

On the way home Bugg did a nose guard again. Jeez what else is new!

Yikes!

I am the worst bloggy-mom ever! It's been since MONDAY which is unusual for me. Well we have had a cute little pug boy to spoil!!! Here's a picture so you don't forget what we look like:

That's me, Sophie and Harley. Very cute of them... a little "yikes" of me! I am having major eye problems and can't use my contacts anymore, which is stressful. I'm hoping that the medications will work and allow me to be back in contacts soon. Aside from that, I've been a little under the weather as well, so it's just been a crazy week.

When our photoshop is finally working again (it's not right now), Dixie will have a virtual prezzie for the bugglorette finalists. She is so happy that she now has a boyfriend and a best friend. Coco, I am sure you will enjoy being friends with Dixie!!! Murphy, you can still flirt, Dixie flirts inadvertently with her BROTHER Harley, so feel free to flirt with Pumpkin and any other "hot bitch" you might run across.

Here's to hoping that I can get more organized, healthy, and write more entries soon! God knows it takes the pugs forever to type with their paws, one key at a time.

Hi it's Sophie! Now that I'm cone free, and it's 8:00pm, I can announce the winner of the Bugglorette's search for love!!! Taking nearly 53% of the vote, and coming back from behind, the winner by just TWO VOTES is...

MURPHY DOGG!!!!!

I must say it was a tight vote! I like Murphy though because he is fun-loving and will keep our Bugg young and vibrant. He also made the coolest poster for the "fight" to win Dixie!!! Murphy, we love your energy and your one of a kind personality! I hope to one day raise my pawtini and make a doggie speech at your BT-Pug wedding!!!

As for Coco, what a great opponent!! Coco, we would like you to be Dixie's official boy best friend for life (BBFFL) and you guys can hang out whenever you like! We loved getting to know you better and really respect what a fine young pug you are, and can't wait to learn more about you!

Welcome Harley!

We are so glad to announce the addition of Harley to our pug posse!!!

The adjustments have been way easier than Brian and I expected. Harley slept on Brian's lap the whole way home from Kentucky yesterday. Look at how they all just passed out after Pugtoberfest last night!

Below is Brian saying "OH WELL" after I realized I'd have to buy a new couch for myself now if I wanted to lay down.

Dixie has been especially welcoming of Harley. Here they are snuggling:

When it was time for bed last night, we tried a crate for Harley since that's what he is used to. However we had the crate in our room- we felt just horrible putting it anywhere else- a strange house, alone, in a crate? No thank you! Well he was making breathing/whimpering noises (nothing like the pug noises of the PAST from the girls' time in the crate though!!!) and Dixie jumped down from our bed and went to check and see if he was ok!!! It melted my heart!!! Needless to say he fit in our bed very well. He and Dixie both fell asleep on their backs, it was the most adorable thing. And as I write this, both Sophie and Harley are on Brian's lap!!

We hope for continued progress like this, I can't wait for them to be inseparable, like they see each other as family. Now, we have some great new nicknames for our clan... "Three's Company", or perhaps, "The Three Little Pigs?" What do you think!?!

PUGTOBERFEST SURPRISES!!!

Wow, have we come back from Pugtoberfest with some surprises! We had a great time. We saw our friends and blog fans, like April, Annie, Sarah, Vikki, and Vikki's pugs (Jasmine, Eli, Pippin, Ernie, and Bernice!) Mommy and Daddy also entered us into the group costume contest again:

Yea that's right, I was a stupid FLOWER with ladybugs and a stem and everything. Bugg was "bumblebugg" and she didn't even realize she had a costume on. Here's a side view of me:

Here's the crazy part... we won! AGAIN! And this time there were like four other contestants!!!! YAY! Guess what our prize was...

Ok, that's not really what we got, it was like treats and stuff. But- we DID get a new brother!!!! Mommy and Daddy have been planning it for a while! It's Harley, Brutus' foster brother!!! He and Daddy are just the best of friends already.

See they were making their tough boy faces. He is older than us and makes some weird snorts that we don't make! We think this is because he is wise, like Brutus. Also he chased me around which was super fun. He's getting to know our house and stuff, we are so happy to have a big brother to watch over us and snuggle with us!!!! I'm sure Mommy will update you more later!
