Harley's First Post

Dear sweet readers,

Greetings and salutations, it is I, Harley, or as I like to be called, Harles. I have received my new deep red buddy belt from dearest Annie: many debts of gratitude to you.

Doesn't it look dashing?

She also sent some goodies for my sweet sisters and myself to share. Here we are inquiring about a Wubba Kong's intentions with us.

Sweet Annie also sent some luxurious paw-protectors for when the weather is less than stellar.

Last but certainly not least, I received the most luxurious sweater! It made me feel jolly, sophisticated, and warm.

Unfortunately my sweet sister Sophie did not appreciate the beautiful handiwork on this artisan sweater.

I have removed it so that I can wear it in her absence, to further respect the beautiful garment.

Thank you, Miss Annie, for sending these kind gifts along with my fabulous Buddy Belt! Love, Harles

Harles my good Pug!

It is so refreshing to meet another gentlemanly Pug like myself that appreciates finer things and can appreciate a level of higher sophistication. You are absolutely dashing and I look forward to our meeting on Saturday.

I also want to assure you that my intentions are nothing but honorable regarding your beautiful sister Sophie.

I look forward to our meeting on Saturday. In the meantime, stay well and enjoy your day.

Most sincerely yours,

Salinger The Pug

Harles,

I apologize in advance for my ridiculous mother. She has laughed herself into a giggling heap over the last post she just wrote.

Please ignore her on Saturday.

Sincerely,
Salinger The Pug

great post, Harles. That sweater makes you look like a jolly pug-Santa Claus. Clementine is whispering in my ear to tell you that all she wants for Christmas is an entire wardrobe full of new clothes, a never-ending tub of mother hubbard bones, and a bazillion stuffies representing all the species in the animal kingdom. Good luck with that.

Hey Harley,
Since I'm your sister Dixie's BF, I wanted to get to know you better. So I'm glad you posted. We should totally hang out, but I'm a little scared that you're too sophisticated for me. You use fancy words and I use cuss words. Let me know if you think we could be buds. I'd hate for you to think of me as nothing more than your sister's hooligan boyfriend.

Murphy Dogg

Dear Harley, what wonderful gifts. You tell your sister to respect your outfit more. Tell her it is the sisterly thing to do.
