I'm BACK!!!!!!!!

I'm finally back, and boy did I miss Brian and the girls!! Sophie's surgery went well- thanks to those of you who emailed the girls' yahoo account to ask about it. I am tired and will be doing more updating soon (and reading the over 200 blogs I have to read!!!!) but here are some pictures Brian took on Thursday after Sophie's surgery. We call it: The Cone of Hate.

Apparently, she's really gotten used to it. But walks and meals she gets to take it off!

However, she can't get on or off the couch with it, so Brian takes care of that.

Poor Sophie!

We are just glad she is okay... and got her DENTAL and NAILS done too!!! YAY!!! Poor frankenpug!

Woof Sophie

Hang in there, the dreaded cone won't last forever and hopefully you'll get lots of treats.

Well, at least now Sophie has a cone photo for project runway.

I's thinking about you Sophie. Be patient, the cone will come off eventually - until then use it to make your needs known!

Tell your people that you need extra treats to make up for that cone of hate. Hope you're feeling better soon. Stupid mast cells!

Glad everything went well. Fatty said to tell Sophie to think of the cone as an extension of herself. That's what he did when he had to wear one.

I'm so glad that you're feeling better my little Puggy Muffin! Your Elizabethan collar is very fetching and frames your beautiful face just perfectly!

My mommy is so mean and keeps laughing and saying "I hope she doesn't look up when it's raining outside!" She is an awful awful woman...pay no attention to her.

I can't wait to see you again soon so I can give you some get well kisses!

Love,

Your Salinger

Hi Kelly,
Thanks so much for your advice today. I was pretty upset and thought maybe I was overreacting. Now I realize that the instructor should have been doing something more... Thanks again.
