Hi it's Sophie. I am pretty miffed about this collar cone thing I have to wear. However I get it off to eat and to go on walkies. My plan is to take as long on walkies as possible- it's working, since the more I hold out, the longer I stay outside without it on. Yippeeee! I love contemplating escapes from my cone.
My Mommy is home today. Daddy has been taking amazingly great care of me but it's nice to have a warm body to snuggle with all day too. Mommy got home really late Saturday and we played together Sunday, then she worked yesterday, but has off today and tomorrow!!
I know she loves me too! We are going to Pugtoberfest this weekend in Kentucky!!!!!! Any other pugs going?? There is a costume contest again, and we don't think our winning costumes should come out of retirement. Plus the hood wouldn't fit over my cone! Any ideas what kind of costume Mommy and I could turn my cone into?? She's very creative! Bonus if you can think of a pair that go together, so Dixie isn't left out!!! Thanks for the ideas! Now back to snuggling with Mommy.

How about dressing Dixie up as an alien, and then Sophie could be one of the telescopes at SETI.
Martini...shaken, not stirred!!! But I'm kinda giving away Ruby's entry for Project Dogway this week...well, not exactly, but Sophie deserves it after what she has been thru!

satellite dishes, tiny tiny race tracks - you could paint a little track and stands inside the cone and glue little race cars on it, Sophie could be the the hubble telescope and Dixie could be an astronaut. Or, you could decorate the cone in old fashion Elizabethan style - Sophie could be Queen Elizabeth and Dixie could be her handmaid or something.
Make the cone into a spider web and you would be stuck inside... then Dixie could be the spider :-)
The other ideas sound better, but this is all I gots.

Oh Nevis already said my idea! Dang! Snuggling with your Mommy is the best! Okay...how about elephants? Sophie's cone could be painted to be her ears & Dixie could be an elephant too! Or maybe Sophie could be a peanut in a shell(the cone could be part of the shell that's cracked open & her head is a peanut) & once again Dixie is dressed as a elephant, who loves peanuts! That's all I got...
