Someone's in TROUBLE...

So, I am leaving Brian and the girls for my work conference tomorrow, and won't be back until Friday night. What does that mean?

It means Sophie gets mad/upset, disappears, and then we find her with pee on the bed. And the clothes I had laid out for tomorrow.

Here she is all sad and "remorseful," crying to Daddy. I realize she doesn't actually "know" that I am leaving, but now that she sleeps with us every night, I have no idea why she would pee on our bed!!! Any insight, ANYONE?!?!!

Thanks for the responses. I will catch up on blogs on Friday night or Saturday morning- can't wait to read all about everyone's week then!

p.s.- we got the little liners for her Buddy Belt so that as the leather softens it won't irritate her sensitive skin, isn't that great? You can see them in the photo. However I'm not sure she deserves such caring treatment after today's actions... brat!!!

Oh no! I don't know what to tell you. I don't know how they know when we are leaving them for a while. Poor girl. Perhaps you can have Dixie talk to her.

Gus used to pee on my bed when I would go to work and poop on my clothes. He is no longer allowed in my bedroom when I am not home and if he is in the bedroom he isn't allowed on the bed.
Our guys know when we are getting ready to go away, Indy hides and sulks and Gus follows me, looking panicky, around the house.

She could be showing her anger with you leaving? Myabe give her lots of extra love while you are getting ready?

Mom says she can't help you with that one, as it has happened to her. But not for ages and ages. Bummer though, mom knows about washing everything on the bed.

Woof pups

Does she pee in her sleep, is she a bed-wetter? Or does she does cause she's upset? If she's a bed-wetter than you can get Proin from you vet. It should take care of it.
Desert Pups here just getting out and meeting the neighbors cause we're new in town.
