I just had a conversation with Dixie... it went something like this: (Dixie's comments are italicized.)
Hi there Dixie Bugg!
Hay Mommy. What iz up?
I just got off the phone with your V-E-T about your butt bump.
Wut wuz it?
Well, she said it was a Mast Cell Tumor. Our blog friends were right.
Yuck.
It's okay though! They got it all out and it was only in stage 1, which means they caught it early. And you are now a cancer survivor!
Yayyyy! Tanks fur dah support. Smilezzzzz!

Wonderful news!!! This made my morning.
Will she have to do any Chemo or anything?
Thank goodness!!
I love the play by play photo's!!
So glad to hear it is stage 1. I myself am a mast cell tumor cancer survivor also. I have had three removed. The first one cropped up in February 2006. Then I got another one in May and another in August of that same year. They were all stage 1. I haven't had any more since though! Woman has me on a special cancer diet of beef and broccoli - no carbs for me!
So happy you're OK! You are such a cute Bugg!
Glad you are okay, Dixie, and that you caught it early!
Thankfully they got it!
I just had a mast cell tumor removed from my ear! I'm sorry that you had one, too, but now I don't feel so alone.
Good health and pug hugs from Massachusetts!
